First off thank you for coming out and making the First Shift Welcome Event a success! I got to personally meet a lot of your children and know how excited they are to be playing hockey for the first time.
Just a couple of quick reminders we are starting with the first on ice Saturday November 7th from 1-2 pm. Also before November 7th remember to get a mouth guard and fit it before hand. I recommend one that attaches to the face mask. Also, if you could please attach a sticker to your child's helmet with their first name on it. We have 43 kids coming out that day so it will take a little time to remember their names.
When you arrive at the arena please take a look at the board entering the arena it will let you know what change rooms we are in. Because of the amount of participants we ask that only one parent accompany their child into the change room so we can fit everyone. If you require any help all the instructors will be around as well as some of our Wainfleet Wild Atom hockey players to assist you.
Also I have received some questions on stick length and taping. If you are unsure or require any assistance please give me a call. We can provide assistance with the sticks on Saturday as well.
